We recently received  a DIY Wedding Favor photo for a  May, 2012 Wedding.  Last year a member of the groom’s family had heard Mary speak at her monthly Garden Club meeting.  We kept in touch with them  and last month they finalized their favor. They added the silver ribbon.

Here is another example of a DIY Wedding Favor using  our honey favor hex jar along with wedding favor tags and labels created by Lisa.  The bride-to-be tied the tags and then added the custom fabric covering.

We have renewed our advertisement in The Knot Wedding Magazine for another year.  Here is our newest advertisement, which will appear in the upcoming 2012 and 2013Knot magazines. Lisa Purcell, who also creates our custom wedding favor tags, created this new Ad for us.  She did a great job featuring our Honey Wedding Favors!

We are busy preparing  for the  March 14th weddingsetgo bridal show at Gibbs Hall, Ft. Monmouth, Tinton Falls, NJ. Mary is pouring many beeswax mini-heart floating candles which we will be giving out to all the brides-to-be’s at the show.  We will also be displaying our Honey Wedding Favors, custom favor labels and custom favor tags. The Bridal show begins at 6:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.

Gibbs Hall has special significance for me. My father regularly met there with his prisoner of war support group before he passed away. He flew with the US Army 15th Air Force and was shot down on his next to last combat mission. He was a prisoner of war at Stalag 13 and participated in the “Shoe Leather Express” forced march . This 600 mile, 86 day march has frequently been referred to as a “Death March” because of the extreme hardships that were endured by Allied POW’s during one of the worst winters in history. Dad and thousands of  Allied POW’s were rescued by Patton’s tanks

DIY Baby Shower Favor: …The large hex honey jars looked great at the baby shower.(bee themed, as in mommy to bee) They were the perfect size not too big and not too small…
